Our client is seeking an Assistant Transportation & Logistics Manager to oversee strategic logistics operations, customer service, and warehouse teams. Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory, transportation, and customer service
  
  
• Supervise and train warehouse staff and logistics specialists
  
  
• Coordinate daily operations across multiple distribution centers
  
  
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams
  
  
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  
  
• Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement
  
  
• Prioritize and schedule orders to meet customer requirements
  
  
• Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries and optimize routing
  
  
• Handle inbound/outbound shipment issues and resolve customer concerns
  
  
• Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and partners to achieve company goals
  
  
• Manage warehouse and driver personnel, including route and vehicle assignments
  
  
• Track shipments, process orders, and ensure timely deliveries
  
  
• Process purchase orders and invoices accurately and efficiently
  
  
• Oversee cost estimating processes in customer service
  
  
• Improve and implement supply chain procedures
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:
