Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support our manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the electrical components of bag machinery and support equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background, with hands-on experience working in industrial settings to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Requirements:
✔️ 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles within a production or manufacturing environment. ✔️ High School Diploma or GED (Technical Degree or Electrical Certification preferred). ✔️ strong electrical knowledge, including 480V 3-phase systems and machine controls. ✔️ Familiarity with PLCs and VFD drives (troubleshooting experience a plus). ✔️ Understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement practices. ✔️ Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, and industrial safety standards. ✔️ Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues. ✔️ Welding, pipefitting, and equipment installation experience is a plus. ✔️ Forklift operation experience required.

Responsibilities
✔️ Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs on production machinery, including bag-making equipment and related support systems.
✔️ Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment per electrical codes and safety regulations.
✔️ Follow all safety procedures, including Lock Out / Tag Out and Confined Space protocols, to ensure a safe working environment.
✔️ Conduct both scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency electrical repairs to reduce equipment downtime.
✔️ Report unresolved electrical or control system issues to the Maintenance Manager for further evaluation.
✔️ Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety and housekeeping standards.
✔️ Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production staff to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
✔️ Perform electrical troubleshooting of motors, relays, sensors, PLCs, control circuits, and power distribution systems.
✔️ Support ongoing process improvements by identifying and implementing electrical upgrades to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
✔️ Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when necessary to support maintenance tasks.
