Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all kinds of welding equipment on any job assigned
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, operation sheets, and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements
• Continual check work to ensure quality of weld
• Ability to perform heating and cutting operations
• Qualifications:
  
  
• Welding Certificate or Diploma from college or technical school preferred or 1 to 2 years of related experience
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Physical Requirements:
  
  
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 6 hours

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 6 hours at one time
