Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to determine machine settings.
- Load raw materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations.
- Perform quality control checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and meet production goals.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with technicians or engineers for complex problems.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist.
- Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code, M-code) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and precision instruments.
- strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
