We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Safety Specialist to oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for our aerospace. This role ensures strict compliance with industry and company quality standards using precision measurement tools while also conducting regular safety audits to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality control, manufacturing processes, and workplace safety regulations, with a keen eye for identifying defects and process improvements.

salary: $23 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities



We are seeking experienced, reliable candidates for a Quality Control Inspector role at a leading metal distributor in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of QC methods, be able to read blueprints, and quickly analyze potential failures to determine solutions in real-time. Responsibilities include providing feedback to extrusion press operators on out-of-spec material, reporting visual or dimensional issues to the Production & QA Manager, completing First Article Inspection reports, and submitting reports on non-conforming products. Experience with GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) is required, along with knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100. The role demands attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
