We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, operating a sit-down forklift, and ensuring a safe working environment. The ideal candidate should be able to handle physical tasks, operate basic computer systems, and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving: Handle incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- Operate Sit-Down Forklift: Safely maneuver and operate equipment to move materials and products.
- Basic Measurement Skills: Ability to measure and perform basic calculations as required.
- Computer Skills: Utilize computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Physical Requirements: Lift and move items up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Wear safety toe shoes and a highlighter vest during work hours.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
