Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (Milling or Turning) to produce quality parts within specifications.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Select and load the correct tools, materials, and fixtures for each job.
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to speed, feed rates, and tool paths as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with safety and quality standards.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols.
- Document machining processes, part counts, and any issues or adjustments made during production.
- Collaborate with engineering or supervisory staff to resolve any technical issues or challenges.
- Adhere to quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
