Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance:
  • Performing routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting equipment according to schedules.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and identifying potential issues.
• Repair and Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
  • Disassembling and repairing or replacing defective parts.
  • Using various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
• Installation and Setup:
  • Installing new machinery and equipment.
  • Setting up and calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
  • Ensuring proper alignment and functionality of machinery.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Working with various systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and controls.
  • Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Following lockout/tagout procedures.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Preparing maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Keeping track of equipment parts and supplies.
• Reading and Interpreting Technical Documents:
  • Reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
