Forklift Operators will be responsible for safely operating reach trucks, sit down forklifts, stand up forklifts, and cherry pickers for a variety of warehouse duties.  Are you looking for more than just a job? We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our 1st shift at our Long island Warehouse location working Monday Thru Friday from 7am to 3pm.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklifts before and after each shift to ensure they are in good working condition.
  
  
• Check fluid levels (oil, fuel, hydraulic fluid) and ensure proper tire pressure.
  
  
• Test brakes, steering, and lifting mechanisms for smooth operation.
  
  
• Identify any signs of wear and tear, leaks, or unusual noises.
  
  
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team or supervisor.
  
  
• Keep records of maintenance checks and follow safety compliance guidelines.
  
  
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Load and unload shipments from trucks and move products to designated areas.
  
  
• Stack and organize inventory properly to prevent damage.
  
  
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions.
  
  
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
  
  
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
