Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities – Machine Operator Helper (Press Brake):
- Assist the Press Brake Operator with machine setup and changeovers
- Load and unload materials into the press brake machine safely and efficiently
- Support proper alignment and positioning of metal pieces during bending/forming
- Monitor machine operation and assist in detecting malfunctions or quality issues
- Perform routine measurements using calipers, tape measures, or gauges to ensure accuracy
- Remove finished parts and stack, label, or move them as required
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Communicate with team members to support production flow and quality standards
- Learn and grow into operating the press brake independently over time
