Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various machines such as CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to produce precision metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance parts and make adjustments as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
