Responsibilities
The Filling Operator is responsible for filling and packaging finished goods according to work order. The position follows procedures and practices to ensure production is safe, efficient, and accurate. Strive for continuous improvement in design, development, production, packaging, sales and delivery of products and services that meet or exceed customer, regulatory, and performance requirements.
Fill products into containers according to standard operating procedures while maintaining the highest level of quality and cleanliness.
· Perform tasks with focus towards organization, sanitation, and safety.
· Must always wear personal protective equipment.
· Maintain clean work environment.
· Operates pumps, valves, scales, and automated filling equipment.
· Set up a filling station for filling grease tubes, pails, drums, or totes.
· Documentation of procedures via filling documents to ensure proper chain of custody.
· Teamwork on filling stations requiring serval personnel working together as one functioning process.
· Place finished goods on designated pallets.
· Manual dexterity (speed and accuracy) for such duties as sweeping, mopping, and toting.
· Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions.
· Ability to work a schedule of (5) full 8-hour workdays per week.
· Work overtime as needed.
