Role Summary: Randstad USA is seeking a results-driven Shift Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing team in Alsip, IL. This role leads all night shift operations with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and team development. You’ll manage approximately 20 production personnel while driving continuous improvement and ensuring all operational goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience managing teams and shift operations.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices preferred.
- Comfortable working hands-on with equipment and on the production floor.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP systems like AX preferred.
- strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to stand, bend, and walk for 10–12 hours daily and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Pay: $70K–$85K/year depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Supervise and support all departments on the night shift.
- Ensure production staffing levels meet schedule demands.
- Consistently engage on the production floor to oversee performance, safety, and product quality.
- Enforce all safety policies and take corrective action when necessary.
- Analyze downtime and implement corrective solutions.
- Identify root causes of process or equipment failures using problem-solving techniques.
- Coordinate and schedule training for night shift employees.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards of all outbound products.
- Ensure all production and shift reports are complete and accurate.
- Optimize scheduling of personnel and equipment to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with plant leadership on projects and team initiatives.
- Model continuous improvement and lead with a performance-driven mindset.
