Responsibilities
- Set up and operate hydraulic press brakes to bend stainless steel parts according to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine the correct bending sequence.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe workplace
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator required
- Experience with Trumpf and Amada presses preferred but not required
- Proficient in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Set-up experience required
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of hydraulic press brake safety protocols
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 40lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
