JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, and production machines. The ideal candidate will use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up manufacturing and process lines to meet product specifications and production goals before production begins.
- Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, and material flow.
- Monitor machine operations, observing lights and gauges to detect malfunctions.
- Shut down processes, isolate product, and notify management of any deviations from standards.
- Conduct routine inspections per the maintenance plan and maintain accurate records.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Technology preferred
- Minimum 3 years of recent industrial maintenance experience
- strong mechanical skills and experience with preventative maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Spanish language proficiency is helpful
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Basic computer skills
- General knowledge of electrical systems
- CAD experience
- Experience in motor replacement and machine building
