We are seeking a highly skilled machinist with extensive CNC programming, setup, and proofing experience to join our day shift team. This role involves writing and proving out MasterCam programs (4th and 5th axis), setting up and running CNC lathes and mills with Fanuc controls, and maintaining tight tolerances on short-run, high-precision parts. Ideal candidates will bring over 6 years of hands-on CNC experience and be comfortable working with stainless, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and high-performance plastics.

Responsibilities

Needed Experience: (do not apply if you do not meet all required experience needs)

· 4+ years writing CNC programs in MasterCam. (4th and 5th axis)

· 4+ years of proofing programs and communicating with programmer(s).

· 4+ years setting up CNC lathes with Fanuc based controls.

· 4+ years setting up CNC mills with Fanuc based controls.

· 6+ years operating CNC equipment.

· 6+ years inspecting parts to print using calipers, micrometers & height gauges, etc.

· Capable of consistently achieving +/- .003" results.

· Capable of hitting +/-.0005" when required per print.

Not Required But Useful Experience:

· Familiarity with Esprit programming software.

· Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software.

· Familiarity with setting up CNC Lathes with sub-spindles.

· Familiarity running a CMM

· Familiarity programming a CMM with Verisurf

· Familiarity with machining ceramic, tungsten and other exotic materials.

· Training machine operators and inspectors.
