Responsibilities

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality packaging of products. This position is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring focus, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload raw materials onto packaging machines, ensuring smooth and continuous operation
  
  
• Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality
  
  
• Perform routine quality control checks to identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies in packaged products
  
  
• Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively to minimize downtime
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and safety standards
  
  
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
  
  
• Attention to detail and quality standards
  
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  
  
• Previous experience with packaging machinery is a plus
  
  
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to learn machine settings and functions
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 35lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time
