We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Seat Assembler to join our production team. The Seat Assembler will be responsible for accurately assembling seats and related components, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities

• Seat Assembly: Assemble seat frames, cushions, upholstery, and other components according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and production schedules.
  
  
• Component Attachment: Securely attach all seat components (e.g., foam, fabric, and metal parts) using appropriate tools, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
  
  
• Quality Assurance: Inspect each completed seat to ensure it meets company quality standards, including checking for defects, ensuring proper alignment, and verifying the integrity of all fasteners.
  
  
• Tool Operation: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery (e.g., staplers, sewing machines, etc.) to assemble seats efficiently and with precision.
  
  
• Upholstery Handling: Handle, cut, and stretch upholstery material as required, ensuring proper alignment and fit of the fabric over the seat frame.
  
  
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of protective gear, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
