Do you have expereince working in the steel industry? If so, we are looking for multiple emplyees for a 2nd shift including an experienced Plate Roller Operator to set-up, bend, roll, form, stretch, and straighten metal plates, metal extrusions, formed sheet metal, and weldments. Candidates MUST have Plate Roller set-up experience to be considered. 

salary: $45,750 - $62,400 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 6 PM - 6 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Provides inspections, as necessary, of fabrication equipment.
• Reports equipment defects/issues to maintenance to ensure appropriate repair activities are performed.
• Assists in loading material onto fabrication equipment to support cutting, bending, and rolling of steel components.
• Sets up fabrication jobs using equipment software, as necessary, based on design drawings and nesting software requirements.
• Performs metal fabrication tasks to include cutting, bending and rolling of  steel components.
• Ability to work independently based on the schedule provided by the Operations Manager.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 40lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
