fleet maintenance supervisor.

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of all mobile and plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. This role plays a key part in applying preventative maintenance strategies to maximize fleet efficiency while adhering to budget constraints. Responsibilities include managing inventory, approving parts and materials purchases, and maintaining accurate maintenance records in compliance with DOT regulations. The ideal candidate will also lead plant improvement or expansion projects, support company safety initiatives, and lead monthly safety meetings. This position is designed to complement and enhance the overall maintenance program, driving the team toward operational excellence and a zero-incident safety rating.

salary: $70,720 - $83,200 per year

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance of all mobile and plant equipment.
 Apply approved preventative maintenance measures maximizing fleet
efficiencies while controlling costs.
 Keep within maintenance budgets for all ready-mix plants and mobile equipment.
 Maintain cost effective inventory levels, approve parts/material purchases, and
resolve budget variance issues.
 Ensure accuracy of truck maintenance files in accordance with DOT regulations.
 Supervise plant improvement and/or expansion projects, hands-on if needed.
 Support organizational safety initiatives, lead monthly Safety meetings. and drive
the maintenance team towards zero incident rating.
 This role is to compliment the maintenance program already in place and help
make it more efficient with new ideas.
