Join a growing manufacturing team dedicated to producing high-quality injection molded products! We are seeking a skilled Mold Technician to support 2nd shift operations by performing mold setups, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure efficient production and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mold installations, changeovers, and setups according to production schedules.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of molds to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot molding issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Inspect molded parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Document setup activities, maintenance work, and part quality checks.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Previous experience with injection mold setup and troubleshooting required.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and mold setup sheets.
- Familiarity with molding equipment, auxiliary systems, and basic tooling maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely around heavy machinery.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on 2nd shift.
