About the Role: In this hands-on role, you'll assemble custom-built wire harnesses and control box modules by interpreting blueprints, using hand tools, and applying precision measuring techniques. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams, troubleshoot circuits, and contribute to prototype development for electrical generators — all while working in a supportive, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble control boxes and wire harnesses to blueprint specifications.
- Maintain production efficiency standards and uphold quality expectations.
- Work with engineering teams on revisions and component updates.
- Design and build harnesses for prototype systems.
- Operate wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering tools.
- Inspect and troubleshoot assemblies using digital multimeters.
- Complete all quality control and labor tracking documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical training in Electrical/Automotive/Diesel Technology preferred.
- 2+ years of electrical assembly experience preferred.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities
1. Build production control boxes to blueprints, maintain efficiency standards.
2. Build production wire harnesses to blueprints, maintain efficiency standards.
3. Work closely with engineering department for revision changes and component changes.
4. Design wire harnesses to function with prototype electrical generators.
5. Utilize wire cutting, striping, crimping, and soldering tools to assemble products.
6. Verify parts clearances to spec, verifying conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints.
7. Inspect and troubleshoot electrical circuits, harnesses and control boxes using digital multimeter tool.
8. Completes all timekeeping requirements to track labor in jobs.
9. Completes all quality control paperwork per job as directed.
10. Notifies production upon completion of assembly.
11. Adheres to the assembly process in place while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
12. Other responsibilities as designated by and at the discretion of management.
