- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in a medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical setting.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments.
- Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and facility safety standards.
- Proven experience managing contractors, budgets, and vendor relationships.

- Certified Facility Manager (CFM), LEED Accreditation, or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities
This role is ideal for a proactive leader who combines technical expertise with communication and organizational skills, and a passion for sustainable, people-centered environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain all aspects of building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, landscaping, and custodial services.
- Manage facility-related vendors and service contracts, ensuring high-quality performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with EHS, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, local codes).
- Lead space planning, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades with a focus on accessibility, functionality, and sustainability.
- Track and manage budgets for facilities operations, projects, and capital improvements.
- Respond promptly to urgent facility issues and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Serve as site lead for facilities-related audits and inspections.
