Their high-performance solutions are built for superior vibration isolation and seismic restraint—and they’re looking to bring on a Parts Inventory Clerk to support their warehouse operations in Riverhead, NY.
We’re Looking for Candidates Who:
- Have current or past experience (2–3 years) in parts inventory and vendor management
- Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel
- Have written and verbal communication skills
- Track and maintain inventory for parts and materials
- Work with vendors to manage orders, deliveries, and returns
- Accurately enter and update inventory data
- Assist with purchasing and filing documentation
salary: $17 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Keep accurate records of inventory, including how many parts are in stock, what’s coming in, and what’s going out.
- Enter inventory information into the computer, including part numbers, names, how many there are, and where they’re stored.
- Keep paperwork for all inventory changes, including when parts are added, removed, or moved.
- Plan and order the materials and auto parts needed for the production floor.
- Order supplies, handle returns for damaged or wrong items, collect invoices and credit notes from vendors.
- Keep track of incoming shipments and follow up on any late deliveries.
- File receiving documents and inspection reports.
- Work closely with auto parts manufacturers, customers, and vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Talk with customers and vendors to help fill orders and answer questions.
- Enter customer orders into the store’s computer system.
- Do daily, weekly, and yearly inventory counts to make sure the system matches what’s in stock.
- Use Excel to track inventory, orders, and shipments.
