A growing small bakery manufacturer is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging & Shipping Associate to support its warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in packaging baked goods, preparing shipments, and making sure all outgoing orders are accurate and timely.
What You’ll Do:
- Package baked goods with care to ensure quality and appearance
- Prepare, label, and organize shipments for delivery
- Ensure orders are packed correctly and sent out on time
- Keep the packaging and shipping area clean and organized
- Follow food safety and warehouse procedures
- attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Previous bakery or food industry experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be dependable and able to travel between locations
salary: $17 - $17.5 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
- Package cookies and other baked goods according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Weigh, label, and seal packages to ensure freshness and proper presentation.
- Organize and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Work with shipping carriers to generate labels and track shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized packaging and shipping area.
- Inspect products before packaging to ensure quality and appearance meet bakery standards.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Assist in inventory tracking and report low stock levels of packaging materials.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and efficiency.
