Responsibilities
Summary: Performs all phases of equipment repairs for the fleet of diesel trucks, tankers, and flatbeds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge and Competency Requirements: - Previous experience as a diesel mechanic - Knowledge of shop equipment - Welding skills - strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - Deadline and detail-oriented - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Education and/or Experience: -High school diploma or equivalent required. - Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes and lubrications - Applicant has the ability to repair , reline, replace and adjust brakes - Perform welding and cutting - Trouble shoot and repair electrical issues - Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas - Adhere to company rules and regulations - Complete work orders and discuss work with supervisor *Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company
