Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on all conveyors, production equipment (including injection molding machinery), and building-related equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
- Reactive Maintenance and Repair: Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and perform reactive maintenance and repairs on conveyors, production equipment, and building systems.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize an intermediate working knowledge to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues. Detect minor problems and implement corrective actions to prevent larger failures.
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting and necessary tasks involving low and high voltage (up to 480V AC and DC) electrical and control systems. This includes the repair or replacement of system components such as motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and basic control elements.
- Personal Tools: Must possess and maintain a personal set of essential industrial maintenance hand tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout, and report any unsafe conditions or practices.
- Documentation: Complete basic maintenance logs and records as required.
- Teamwork: Work effectively with other maintenance personnel and production teams to ensure efficient operations.
