Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance routines to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life
- Conduct mechanical and electrical inspections, identify issues, and replace or repair worn components
- Perform hands-on repairs to heavy industrial and automated machinery across diverse production environments
- Maintain and operate DC/AC electrical control systems, including motors, drive systems, and VFDs
- Troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives, electrical panels, and control circuits
- Install and repair electrical components based on engineering specs and manufacturer guidelines
- Work with PLC-based systems and sensors, particularly in regulated industries such as food and pharmaceuticals
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely maintenance with minimal workflow disruption
- Maintain a clean and functional work environment through regular equipment cleaning and painting
- Accurately document maintenance activities, repair history, and parts usage in maintenance systems
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and OSHA compliance
