We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our concrete production facility. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on a variety of equipment, including conveyors, mixers, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, an understanding of industrial tools, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime. This is a key position that ensures our equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

salary: $56,160 - $58,240 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, including conveyors, and silos.
  
  
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, motors, pumps, and related mechanical components.
  
  
• Maintain and repair conveyor belts, rollers, gearboxes, and related equipment to ensure smooth material flow.
  
  
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments to perform repairs and adjustments.
  
  
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts usage.
  
  
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and machinery as needed.
  
  
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
  
  
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to prioritize maintenance needs and support continuous improvement.
  
  
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 12 hours at one time

working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
