Industrial Equipment is a division of a leading manufacturer of vacuum & industrial equipment used in many industries such as Semiconductor, Glass Coating & Solar. Austin Service Center (ASC) is looking to add a Service Technician. The primary role of the Service Technician is to repair & service.  

salary: $22 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Demonstrate an understanding of and adhere to all work safety policies and procedures. Follow procedures and protocols for decontamination and cleaning of pumps. 

Adhere to requirements for wearing proper PPE while performing service repairs. Repair, Test and Troubleshoot Vacuum equipment according to repair and test procedures and specifications.Provide Service Coordinator with accurate documentation, photos, and other service records of equipment for review and organization. 

Support Quality team with corrective action and failure analysis reports if requested. 

Support in maintaining accurate inventory of service parts. 

Perform periodic preventive maintenance on shop equipment according to maintenance schedules. Provide support to the Sales Department with shipping and receiving of goods if requested. Assist in maintaining clean and organized work areas 



The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

Manufacturing (1 year of experience is preferred)

Inspecting (1 year of experience is preferred)

Quality Assurance (1 year of experience is preferred)
