Responsibilities
Work is performed under close supervision. Performs basic and intermediate mechanical assembly operations. Operations are performed within assigned department.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously improves products and processes and participates in quality improvement teams when appropriate.
Responsible for ensuring on-time delivery to the customer by maintaining productivity and following department schedules.
Recommends ways to save money and cut unnecessary costs.
Responsible for satisfying the needs of internal and external customers by responding to customer requests, understanding customer requirements and building successful, productive customer relations.
Assembles, balances and tests sub-assemblies and final units and trains to use computerized data systems, photometer, electrical tester and other equipment as required in either ISP or Final Assembly.
Demonstrates ability to assemble lightplate units with minimum documentation.
