Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, conveyors, pneumatics,boilers, refrigeration systems (preferably ammonia-based), and PLCs.
- Install and wire motors and perform water valve and drain system maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to production line calls to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production and safety teams to ensure all systems meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Be available to work one weekend day each week.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a food or beverage production environment or similar industrial setting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including motor wiring and PLC troubleshooting.
- Experience with ammonia based refrigeration systems preferred.
- Familiarity with conveyor systems, pneumatic systems, and boiler operations.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work one weekend day and occasional overtime if needed.
