This role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, sharp with compliance and training, and wants to be the go-to expert on all things safety and quality on-site. You’ll own key initiatives, collaborate with leadership, and play a vital role in keeping our people and processes running safely and smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Champion a fundemental safety and food safety culture across the service center.
- Deliver impactful training, lead incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other local/state/federal regulations.
- Monitor hazardous waste management, cleaning procedures, and material safety data sheets.
- Work closely with leadership and corporate teams to raise the bar on safety and quality metrics.
- 3+ years in EHS or Quality in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
- Solid knowledge of safety protocols, food safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations.
- Experience working with sanitation chemicals, cleaning verifications, and root cause analysis.
- Ablility to speak & understand English and Spanish is a plus.
- Tech-savvy: Microsoft Office, ERP systems, dashboards, etc.
- A confident communicator who can train, influence, and take initiative without being micromanaged.

Responsibilities
- Champion a safety-first culture while driving improvements in food safety and quality outcomes.
- Track and analyze key safety and quality metrics; identify gaps and develop action plans.
- Lead New Employee Orientation and safety/quality training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Investigate workplace incidents and nonconformances; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage hazardous waste processes including labeling, containment, disposal, and documentation.
- Maintain and monitor Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for new materials and chemicals.
- Collaborate with operations and global safety teams to enhance site-specific dashboards and performance.
- Develop and oversee wash machine cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Promote proactive safety engagement through recognition of employee contributions.
