Responsibilities

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (minimum X years preferred - specify the number of years relevant to the role).
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and work orders, including knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming principles, including G-code. Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating various CNC machines, such as mills, lathes, and grinders. Experience with specific machine types or controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens) should be mentioned if relevant.
• Excellent knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and material properties for a variety of metals and plastics.
• Ability to perform precise measurements using various measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators). Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) is a plus.
• Understanding of quality control procedures and the ability to perform in-process and final inspections.

wearing steel toe shoes

standing for 8 hours at one time
