A manufacturing facility in Richburg, SC is looking for a Yard Manager looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This will operate off a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 AM-3:30 (sometimes 5:00) PM. You will need experience operating Heavy Industrial Equipment and managing associates. Working outside is a requirement as well! 

salary: $45,760 - $54,080 per year

Responsibilities

Responsible for handling care of product and ensuring that the correct product is loaded in the proper manner and in the proper condition. 

Manage lift operators. 

Operate forklift as needed 

Responsible for yard surface maintenance. Maintan a clean, dry yard surface. 

Responsible to improve entrance of property and access to office area for clean access on and off the property and in and out of vehicles. 

Responsible for yard organization -- orderliness and staging of jobs and like kinds of product. 

Responsible for designating operators to lifts. 

Responsible for lift care and cleanliness. 

Distribute/manage accurate paperwork between dispatch and truckers. 





The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

heavy equipment operator (5 years of experience is preferred)

Yard Hustler (3 years of experience is preferred)
