We're hiring for a 2nd Shift Lead Machinist! You'll supervise production, operate and program CNC machines, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure top-quality output. Responsibilities

• Supervise the 2nd shift Production team, ensuring everyone understands their roles. Train new hires and support existing staff.
  
  
• Oversee daily shift operations and assign tasks based on skill, workload, and complexity.
  
  
• Make key decisions on machining operations, resolve equipment issues, and maintain workflow.
  
  
• Log time on jobs using the shop computer by scanning your badge at the start/end of shifts and jobs.
  
  
• Report any time or scan discrepancies to the 1st shift Production Manager.
  
  
• Read and understand work orders by reviewing blueprints on the shop computer.
  
  
• Set up and program machines according to job specs, including tooling and coordinate input.
  
  
• Run CNC machines to produce precision parts.
  
  
• Load raw materials and parts into machines for production.
