Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on bottling and packaging equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and palletizers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize production downtime and support continuous operations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) in accordance with the facility’s CMMS schedule to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Assist with line changeovers and equipment setup to support various production runs and reduce changeover time.
- Monitor equipment performance during operation, making real-time adjustments to maintain line efficiency and product quality.
- Support electrical and control systems maintenance by resetting faults, replacing sensors, and assisting with basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Maintain and repair utility systems, such as air compressors, chillers, and water treatment systems used in bottling processes.
- Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE use, and sanitation standards.
- Document all work performed including repairs, parts usage, and downtime events in the maintenance tracking system.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, following 5S principles and contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.
