The position involves ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of equipment on an aluminum can manufacturing production line, including timely start-up of production lines, up-to-date documentation, and compliance with can manufacturing specifications. Key responsibilities include verifying production itineraries, performing preventive maintenance, responding to emergency repairs, operating and maintaining various equipment like the Necker, Inside Spray, and Decorator machines, and ensuring product quality. The role requires performing visual checks, assisting in different plant areas, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and communicating effectively with supervisors and other staff. Additionally, the role involves inspecting and adjusting can specifications, analyzing product quality, training new operators, and complying with health, safety, and GMP standards. Candidates must have an Associate degree or postsecondary certificate in a related field and at least two years of experience.
