PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! We're looking for a Quality Inspector to assist our growing team at a world leading beauty manufacturer located in Roanoke, VA. Shift: Must be flexible to move shifts. 6am-2:30pm 2:30pm-11:00pm 10:30pm-6:00am APPLY TODAY!! ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for performing process inspection and testing, real time data review, escalation of issues which affect product quality, and execution and documentation of process validations. Performs mathematical calculations and applies correct factors when necessary. Identify and immediately respond to quality events (stop the line, contain, and correct the affected product, ensure the proper correction is applied to resolve the issue before resuming production to minimize the risk of quality relate products leaving our facility. Responsible for the quality of all phases of goods produced either initial, reworks or returned goods. Read all product Fill and Assembly instructions carefully and participate with production staff assisting in the proper assembly of finished goods ensuring that they meet designated requirements. Investigate quality issues to determine root cause(s) and communicate issues to Quality Management as well as providing immediate feedback to production management and personnel. Verify proper quantity of samples have been pulled per the Fill and Assembly Instruction Specifications Approve shipper labels as required. Understand, exercise, and enforce basic cGMP, GDP, and safety requirements and procedures. Initiate change control to correct any issues encountered with the Fill and Assembly Instruction documents. Conduct any other tasks as assigned by management including serving as a floater to assist other areas of the assembly process. When serving as a floater the Quality Inspector will report to the Supervisor of the DEPARTMENT,they are working in.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or GED. Must have proven ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to do basic math which includes but is not limited to, additions, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages. Flexibility to work special schedules as required to satisfy job requirements and available for OT, including weekends and holidays.
