job summary:
Maintain accurate records of all inventory; handles all paperwork and follows all SOPs to meet goal. Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies. Ensures inventory accuracy by location/product. Makes recommendations to DC Supervisor and /or Manager on programs to improve inventory management. Adjust records for discrepancies and take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies. Must be an upbeat self-starter with a stable work history in a distribution center or warehouse. Punctual with good attendance. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Clerical skills: Computer Skills/Data entry, strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical demands Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to twist, squat reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. Must be able to use proper lifting techniques to safely lift up to 50 pounds Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
