After the bagged churros are placed on the conveyor by the packers, ensure that the product goes through the metal detector. If any bags of product are rejected, immediately stop the line and report to Supervisor and QC, who will follow protocols already in place. Line cannot continue until QC has given the authorization. After the bags pass the metal detector point, place 2-4 bags into the prelabeled box (depending on item), if required include 2-4 cinnamon-sugar packets (depending on item), and place box on the conveyor to be taped and imprinted with lot code number. After the box is taped and lot coded, place the finished goods on a pallet, by lifting only one case at a time, up to 23 pounds of weight. Palletize according to specification (depending on item) and shrink wrap complete pallets. Prior to taking the completed or partial pallets into the holding freezer, write down the quantity of cases on the inventory packing sheet and enter the same information into the tablet. Take the completed or partial pallets to the assigned area of the holding freezer, as requested by Warehouse/Freezer EE.
