We are seeking a Quality Inspector with at least 5 YEARS OF AEROSPACE QUALITY INSPECTION EXPERIENCE to ensure that machined and fabricated parts, fasteners, assemblies, and subassemblies meet engineering specifications and quality standards. The role involves using various inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, surface plates, gauge pins, height gauges, and dial indicators, to perform detailed inspections. The inspector will be responsible for identifying non-conforming parts, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and recommending corrective actions when quality issues are repetitive. The position also requires managing and organizing quality records and documents, ensuring proper calibration of inspection equipment, and working in compliance with AS9100D standards. Additionally, familiarity with Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and their functions, limitations, and outputs is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality standards.
