job summary:
As an assembler, you will assemble products from various stages according to guidelines and specifications.  Production duties include assembling of various products per technical drawings and assembly instructions.  Testing of various products per hydraulic schematics and test instructions.  Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, to ensure efficient assembly/test processes.  Processing in a timely manner, all open order requirements needed to fulfil and ship the order.  Support and embrace assembly and test continuous improvement activities as directed.  Follow assembly and test standard work procedures for safety, clean-up, and equipment preventative maintenance.  Performs general work that meets or exceeds acceptable company standards.  Performs work safely, efficiently and utilizes the appropriate equipment and technical data for the assigned task.  Ensures all work is properly documented and meets required company standards.  Maintain good housekeeping practices, drive 5S activities in assembly area, adjacent areas.  Participate in the understanding and adherence of corporate policies, standards, and compliance with ISO procedures.  Drive positive employee relations, through open, clear communication, confident 'can-do,' resourceful attitude  Drive cost savings and higher efficiency through recommending cost saving initiatives in the assembly area and adjacent areas.  Other duties as assigned by senior WAM management (inventory, logistics, warehouse staff management, etc.).
