Please read carefully: Send your most updated resume to matt.euperio@randstadusa.com. The Machine Setter helps produce printed materials by setting up and operating printing machines. This role involves preparing the machine, changing spools of paper or ink, and ensuring everything runs smoothly to create high-quality prints. The setter also checks the prints for quality and performs basic maintenance on the machines. Experience in print production, flexographic, Quality Control is a must. Responsibilities: Operate and assist with various equipment per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain quality standards, minimize waste, and optimize productivity. Manage consumables (paper, ink, water) and load roll stands/splicers efficiently. Log rolls, return stock to inventory, and monitor ink viscosity, pH levels, and glue thickness. Ensure consistent operation of label applicators and assist with machine setups and wash-ups. Prepare supplies for upcoming jobs and track press counts accurately. Participate in Pregis apprenticeship programs for professional growth. Maintain cleanliness and ensure safe operation around moving equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and during shift transitions. Skills Required: Operational knowledge of equipment and ability to follow SOPs. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Training will be roughly about a week on the 1st shift (6a-2p) or until they see you are capable to make no errors. Then you will be transferred to the 2nd shift (2p-10p). Steel toe shoes are a must for the interview and the job.
