job summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and focused Food Line Lead to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role involves working in a manufacturing facility that specializes in producing packaged soups for distribution to grocery stores. As a Food Line Lead, you will oversee daily food preparation operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, food safety regulations, and efficient production processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage food line operations during 1st shift in a manufacturing environment. Prepare soups and other food products following recipes, menus, and production schedules. Oversee the packaging process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure food safety standards and quality control measures are consistently met. Guide and motivate team members to stay on task, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards. Monitor inventory and notify management of supply needs. Communicate effectively with production staff to coordinate efficient food preparation and packaging.
