job summary:
Record and monitor inventory data, including stock levels, weights, and production metrics for reporting and analysis.  Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.  Address quality or accuracy issues, involving the Quality Assurance team when necessary.  Perform routine safety inspections on equipment, tools, and materials, and proactively mitigate potential hazards.  Ensure all warehouse operations comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including California-specific requirements (e.g., Cal/OSHA).  Provide safety training to warehouse staff and enforce adherence to established safety guidelines.
