As an accounting clerk, your responsibilities may include handling purchase orders, keying invoices, and accurately coding invoices. Your attention to detail will be crucial in reconciling invoices and identifying any discrepancies. Your responsibilities might also include creating and updating expense reports, processing reimbursement forms, and preparing bank deposits. Data entry of accounts payable invoices and meticulous checking of spreadsheets for accuracy are integral aspects of your role.
