job summary:
Unload Rail Cars: Efficiently and safely unload plastic material from rail cars to ensure timely delivery to production areas. Weigh and Document Materials: Accurately weigh plastic materials in bags, ensuring precise measurements and proper documentation for inventory and processing records. Material Handling: Manually lift bags (50+ lbs) onto pallets, preparing them for further processing and storage. Forklift Operation: Use a sit-down forklift to safely transport materials to various areas within the facility, ensuring smooth flow between unloading, processing, and storage. Box Construction: Build cardboard boxes from scratch daily to package materials and finished products for shipment. Physical Labor: Perform a mix of manual labor and forklift operation, with 50% of tasks requiring physical lifting, moving, and stacking, and the other 50% requiring sit-down forklift operation.

qualifications:

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
