As a CNC machine operator, you will be responsible for preparing and operating CNC machines to run parts according to blue print or mechanical drawing specifications. Load raw materials and parts onto machines, inspect and measure finished products for accuracy. You must comply with company safety rules and regulations in machinery operation. Requires bending, lifting, standing, walking. The Machinist is responsible for the operation of various manual machines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Sets up and operates various machine shop equipment as needed to manufacture parts; - Ensures that machined parts meet blue print specifications; - Communicates with supervisor, manager or engineering department as needed; - Adheres to company safety and personnel policies; - Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION & SKILLS - Requires a minimum of 2 years on the job experience in the machine shop; - Must have a high school degree or equivalent; - Prefer some technical school training but not necessary; - Ability to read blueprints.
