1st shift packaging lead.

As a Packing Lead, you will be overseeing the picking and packing departments. We are looking for someone with previous food production experience. This team member will be someone who is comfortable giving directions. - Maintain a safe and clean work environment. - Place quality products from pans into the carriers (trays) with or without wire baskets from the racks in a timely manner. Stack empty pans on designated pan carts. - Give breaks/relieve the employees on the Donut Packing Conveyor placing donuts into carriers (trays) that have wire baskets or into pans with a paper liner. - Place paper liners into baskets placing them in stacks as required. - Relocate packed product (up to 18 carriers/trays high on a dollies) to the proper location on the pick line. - Work each of the three stations of the wrappers: ✓ Infeed: place the correct number of the specified product on to the in feed conveyor of the wrapper from pans. Stack empty pans on designated pan carts. ✓ Label: place, in the proper location, the correct label for each item. ✓ Packing: placing the wrapped and labeled products in carriers (trays). - Clean equipment in accordance to Bakery Express standard cleaning procedures. - Move empty stacks of wire baskets and carriers (trays) that are on dollies to the packing area. Move empty racks and full pan carts to designated areas. - Assist other departments in packing donuts, picking orders, and frozen setup as needed. - Provide Maintenance personnel with any pertinent observations relative to equipment function and operation.
